Irene Rickey, founder of FactFinder Investigations, brings more than 11 years of professional experience in law enforcement and 21 years of supervisory level experience in workers' compensation cases. She is a certified by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners as a CFE, has supervised the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) operations of Oregon's largest Workers' Compensation company, and completed complex fraud investigations. Her background provides a comprehensive understanding of investigative procedures, evidentiary standards, and the legal considerations involved in workers’ compensation and insurance matters.

 

Throughout her career, Irene has conducted and supervised investigations involving workplace injures, suspected fraud, compliance issues, and criminal activity, working closely with insurance carriers, attorneys, employers, and government agencies. She applies a disciplined, objective approach to every assignment, producing clear, defensible documentation.
